  1. Osha okra/bamia kata vikonyo, kisha zikate vipande kwa urefu.
 
  1. Katakata kitunguu maji, kitunguu thomu, pilipili mbichi weka kando.
 
  1. Weka mafuta katika karai kisha kaanga kitunguu hadi kianze kugeuka rangi kuwa hudhurungi (golden brown) kisha tia kitunguu thomu kaanga kidogo tu.
 
  1. Tia bamia, pilipili mbichi, methi, pilipili mbichi, chumvi endelea kukaanga kwa moto mdogo mdogo hadi bamia ziwive na ziwe tayari.
